At present, there are various kinds of modules with communication interfaces (RS232, RS485, RS422, CAN, USB) on the market. There are wide variances in price, the functions are mostly just to achieve interface conversion, and the performances can only meet an experiment or test at best. It is really hard to put them into products and apply them into industrial occasions.

In view of the characteristics and application of the sensor field, SIBO developed the SBS90M series acquisition and communication module. Its "acquisition" lies in that the communication module is not the conversion of communication interfaces, but the aggregation of sensor signals. Its "reading" is reflected in the flexible realization of digital output of sensor signals by using multi interfaces and multi protocols. The "acquisition" and "reading" of various signals are designed to solve the industrial level demand of sensor type multi signal input (Analog, Digital, Switch), multi interfaces (RS232, RS485, RS422, CAN, USB single or combined) and multi protocols (SENTOP, Modbus, CANbus, CANopen, USB_HID and Customized Protocol) output.

How to acquire

SBS90M signal communication module can acquire 6 analog signals and 10 switch signals or can acquire and combine into 3D joystick signal. It can not only meet the use of single signal acquisition, but also can meet the use of integrated combined signals.

Acquirable signals

6 analog signals of 0~5V, 10 switch signals. It can be combined with various types of traditional potentiometers, contactless potentiometers, encoders, joysticks, pedals and hand wheels, such as two pieces of 3-axis joysticks, 3 pieces of 2-axis joysticks, multi analog outputs of hand wheels and multi analog outputs of encoders.

Different from that interfaces can realize one or more communication protocols, RS232, RS485 and RS422 can realize SENTOP/Modbus/customer customized protocols; CAN interface can realize CANopen/CANbus/customer customized protocols; USB can realize HID/customer customized protocols, to complete the communication with computers.
